Menu Plan Monday: 11/20/11

The holiday spirit is in the air in this household and I can’t wait to start decorating for Christmas, listening to Christmas music (which we have already started when Ben is not home), shopping for Christmas presents, baking Christmas cookies and making fun crafts!  There is something about Christmas music playing softly in our home that will always make it feel cozy and warm, especially when I look out the window and see snow covering the ground.  Yesterday, we received our first snowfall this season.  Although it was just a slight dusting, it was, nonetheless,  very exciting to the kids.  And, it looked beautiful as it was falling down!  I am sure God created snow just to get us through the miserable winter months.  After Christmas, though, I am ready for spring and done with the snow.  It’s beauty only lasts so long!

Now for the short menu plan for the week.  Welcome Thanksgiving and the start of the holiday celebrations this season!

MONDAY:  Sesame Chicken Stir-Fry

TUESDAY:  Scrambled Eggs and Hashbrowns

WEDNESDAY: Chicken Corn Chowder

THURSDAY: Thanksgiving with Ben’s family.

FRIDAY:  Thanksgiving with my family.
