Menu Plan Monday: 7/2/12
I missed a few weeks of planning and we have, once again, been playing the “What’s for Dinner” game every night around 5:30. Then, we usually end up eating something quick, unhealthy, and blah.
MONDAY: Turkey Shepherd’s Pie with Spinach Smoothies. And, I plan to make festive Red, White and Blue Cookies to bring to work on Tuesday. I made them last year and I liked how different they were from the traditional chocolate chip cookie.
TUESDAY: Lasagna-made ahead so Ben can just throw it in the oven.
WEDNESDAY: Happy 4th! Wish we could be at the cabin already, but it just won’t happen with our work schedules. So, instead, we are going to celebrate at home with a festive BBQ style supper, then off to watch fireworks with a blanket/chairs and popcorn (a family tradition of mine that I am going to start for our own), and plenty of bug repellant.
